While the journey from choosing your home design to making it your home may seem a little daunting at first, the Allcastle Homes build process makes it easy, enjoyable and totally stress free.
Still have questions about building with us? We've answered the most frequently asked questions.
Q: How do I know Allcastle Homes is the right builder for me?
A: Choosing a builder is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make, which is why experience matters.
With more than 33 years of building homes for local families and thousands of homes completed, we have built a reputation for quality, reliability and genuine customer care. From your first conversation to the day you receive your keys, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
The best way to experience the Allcastle difference is to visit one of our display homes and have a chat with our experienced consultants. We’ll help you explore your options and answer any questions you have.
Q: Can I personalise my home design?
A: Absolutely. We understand that no two families live the same way. That’s why we offer a wide range of designs with the flexibility to tailor layouts, colours, finishes and fixtures, so your new home feels like it was created just for you.
Q: I’ve never built a home before. Will I know what to expect?
A: Building a home can feel overwhelming at first, but you can relax because from your very first meeting, an Allcastle Homes consultant will walk you through the entire building process, step by step, so you know exactly what to expect.
From there, our 11-Step Build Journey will make sure you know what’s happening at every stage, and your consultant will be by your side from the beginning right through to handover, and even beyond.
Q: How much does it cost to build with Allcastle Homes?
A: Every home is different, depending on the design, block, inclusions and personal selections you choose. Our team will take the time to understand your needs and help you explore options that suit your lifestyle and budget, with clear information to help you make confident decisions.
Q: What guarantees do I have that my home will be built to a high standard?
A: Quality is at the heart of everything we do. Every Allcastle home is built by experienced tradespeople and supported by rigorous quality checks, independent inspections, industry warranties, and over three decades of building knowledge. It’s a commitment to craftsmanship that has earned us industry recognition, awards and the trust of thousands of homeowners.
When we have built your home, you’ll have two opportunities to meet with your Construction Supervisor on-site and complete a quality inspection check. After that, we’ll meet with you at our Head Office to hand over the keys, go over the warranty of your new home and provide you with copies of all relevant warranties and certificates for your future reference.
Q: What happens after I move into my new home?
A: Our relationship doesn’t end when we hand over the keys. We continue to support you with a 90-day review and ongoing assistance throughout your warranty period, giving you complete peace of mind as you settle into your new Allcastle home.
Q: Can you help if I haven't bought my land yet?
A: No problem. Many people come to us before they've purchased a block. Our experienced consultants will help you understand what to look for, what to avoid, and which locations and block types may work best with your preferred home design and budget.
Q: How will I know if an area is a good place to live?
A: Every family is different, so "good" means different things to different people. The best area is one that suits the lifestyle you want to live. You might be looking for great schools, easy access to transport, nearby shops, open green spaces, or simply more room for your family to grow.
It's also important to consider factors such as block sizes, local council requirements and future growth in the area.
If you're still deciding where to live, our experienced consultants can help you explore your options and find a location that works for your lifestyle, budget and long-term plans.
